Cape Cod Museum of Art
The earliest work in our collection
dates to the mid 19th century with
paintings by Jerome Thompson and
J. J. Audubon. Our collection also
includes works from the earliest artist
colonies in Provincetown and Martha’s
Vineyard, home to a major African-
American artist colony, as well as
examples of work from instructors and
students of renowned Provincetown
art schools. Our collection is rounded
out by 20th and 21st century artists
representing many disciplines.
